Protected by the two mighty towers of the Gothic hall churches, there is much to experience and enjoy in the well-preserved old town of Korbach. Medieval fortifications, stone warehouses, well-preserved half-timbered houses (German Half-Timbered House Route) and the town hall of the city, built as early as 1377, are witnesses of tradition, power and former wealth.
