Golf enthusiasts can also quickly reach the nearest golf course by car. A visit to the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, where you can go walking and cycling, is also worthwhile. If you fancy a city break, the provincial capitals of Assen and Groningen and the Frisian town of Drachten are not far away.
