Location: Velmede is a village in Bestwig, which is very conveniently located in the A46 range. The B7 also leads through the town as the main road. Velmede has its 950 year birthday in 2022, an altitude of 285 m and 3800 inhabitants. Several shopping facilities, restaurants, pizzerias and snack bars, some with delivery service, are located in the village. Things to do: The Hochsauerland has many destinations nearby and is as popular among bikers and motorcyclists as among hikers. Suggestions for suitable routes are available in the apartment. The most beautiful routes are worth a while right on the doorstep. Worth worth it is: - Ruhrtal bike path - Panorama hiking trail Veleda hell - Slate construction Nuttlar with mine dipping But also in the vicinity (about 15 minutes by car) you will find many recreational destinations: - Hennesee with boat trip, bathing, stand up paddling and the sky staircase on the dam wall Henne-Boulevard - Lörmecke Tower - Visitor mine Ramsbeck - Outdoor bus tour - Fort Fun amusement park - Winter sports areas with ski slopes (15-30 min. by car) If you simply feel like peace and relaxation, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Ruhr Valley on the terrace close to nature or from the apartment. Living: Our 55 sqm apartment has a separate entrance and is located in our house directly on the forest and town edge in a quiet location. It is for 2 - max. 4 people suitable. Due to the slope you have an unobstructed view over many districts of Bestwig and Meschede. We have renovated the apartment in spring 2022 and furnished modern with bright friendly furniture. We have put a lot of emphasis on the optics, but also on functionality. This way you will find enough storage space and storage in all rooms. It is an animal-free and non-smoking apartment, an ashtray can be found on the covered terrace. Pets are not allowed. The apartment consists of a 30 sqm living/sleeping area, with the sleeping area being optically divided. If necessary, 2 additional people can find space in the living area on a sofa bed. There is also a spacious kitchen with dining area for up to 4 people, a hallway with wardrobe and a bathroom with toilet and shower. Parking: You can find a parking space for your car in front of the house on our street. If you are travelling by bike or by motorcycle, we will be happy to make room for a small fee (5EUR per motorcycle/day, 2.50 EUR per bike/day) in the lockable garage.
