There are many castles and manors in the area. In autumn, the amount of water in the lake can vary greatly. The nearest sight is the Öved Monastery. It has a castle park in English style. 10 km to the beautiful golf course Sjöbo GK situated in the forest. The house is perfectly situated in the middle of Skåne and not far away are the sandy beaches of Österlen, the fishing port and the old town of Ystad.
