There is also a boat harbour in the city. You can enjoy a spectacular view of the island of Funen from several places. The area of Skamlingsbanken is not far from the city. In Christiansfeld, delicious honey cake can be bought. Also it is famous for the ornamental fireplace and Salamis. Kolding and its surroundings offer lot of attractions, many of which are also suitable for children and include art and culture. Visit the Trapholt Museum, Koldinghus, the pedestrian area of Kolding, the mall Kolding Storcenter and some nice cafes. Visit the Games Park Lejeparken with your family where entry is free.
