Odense is 20 km away, and Otterup is 7 km away. To the east of Hasmark is Enebærodde, a nature reserve with diverse fauna and flora. Explore the small peninsula by bicycle or even on foot. Do visit also, the charming Hofmansgave Manor, the potato museum located near Hasmark. Another nature reserve is located west of Halsmark. Flyvesandet, the only sand dunes on Funen, also has a child-friendly beach. In fact the entire coast is perfect for windsurfing, sailing, swimming and fishing (please do not forget to bring your fishing licence). Odense is an interesting place worth visiting.
